Shuddhabrata Sengupta
Sengupta is an artist, curator and writer with the Raqs Media Collective, based in New Delhi, India. Raqs Media Collective enjoys playing a plurality of roles, often appearing as artists, occasionally as curators, and sometimes as philosophical agent provocateurs. Raqs have shown at Documenta 11, the Venice, Istanbul, Sao Paulo, Sydney, Taipei and Shanghai Biennales. They (Raqs) have curated the recent Shanghai Biennale – ‘Why Not Ask Again’. Sengupta was the Keith Haring Fellow in Art & Activism at Bard College, New York (2015-2016).
