Period: Saturday, 2 December 2017 – Sunday, 3 December 2017 (in parallel with Toride Art Path)
Time: 10:00 – 17:00
Venue: Senmon-Kyoiku Building 4th Floor Room 401 (GAP Studio)
GAP is pleased to present an exhibition showcasing the archive and the artworks created from our most recent unit curriculum, London, and Paris projects. This will coincide with Toride Art Path, a festival organized as an open campus of Toride building as well as the exhibition of second and third year BA students from Intermedia Art course and of student contributors from various departments.
In GAP, the unit curriculum was conducted in collaboration with University of the Arts London, Central Saint Martins and with École des Beaux-Arts from Paris. Students were divided into two groups and their respective projects including joint classes and workshops culminated as exhibitions; London Unit organized Complex Topography: The Pavilion at Folkestone Triennial, and Paris Unit presented The Whole and The Part as part of Tokyo Suki Festival in the neighborhood of Yanaka, Tokyo.
The exhibition will also illustrate the photos of classes, artwork making and final exhibitions in Folkestone and Yanaka. Please come and enjoy the exhibition in Toride.
