We are pleased to invite you to this year’s M1 students’ GAP Practice Exhibition that will be held during Toride Geisai.
GAP Practice is a program that incorporates studio and field practice, art production in the common workshops（共通工房）as the main focus.
Through experimental workshops in installation, video, sound, drawing, and other forms of art, the course aims to “generate original art practices” by reaffirming students’ own relationship with the world. Each student will create his/her own production environment and learn the basics of how to realize works based on concepts and how to set up an exhibition.

取手藝祭期間中に開催される、今年度のM1の学生によるGAPプラクティス展にご招待いたします。
GAPプラクティスは、共通工房での制作を含めた、各学生のスタジオ実習とフィールドワークを組み合わせた授業プログラムです。
インスタレーション、映像、サウンド、ドローイングなど、様々な表現形式を用いた実験的なワークショップを通して、学生自身と世界との関係性を再確認することで、「独自のアートプラクティスを生み出す」ことを目指します。学生一人ひとりが独自の制作環境を構築し、コンセプトに基づいた作品の実現方法や展覧会の企画方法などの基礎を学びます。
