Saitama City Plaza North is pleased to present “Domain of Art 36: Tokyo University of the Arts × Saitama City Plaza North — Creativity in Many Forms,”
the 36th exhibition in the Domain of Art – The Realm of Artistic Creation series.
Tokyo University of the Arts has four campuses—Ueno, Yokohama, Toride, and Kitasenju—where students engage daily in diverse creative practices across fields such as music, fine art, and moving image, continuously experimenting and refining their modes of expression.
This exhibition marks the first time the series is held at Plaza North.
More than 50 artists—including students, assistants, and alumni based primarily at the nature-rich Toride Campus—come together to present works centered on the theme of “humor,” each reflecting their unique perspectives and sensibilities.
Participants come from a wide range of disciplines, including Global Art Practice, Oil Painting, Sculpture, Design, Crafts, and the Common Workshops, where highly specialized technical practices are cultivated.
Freed from the boundaries of genre, the exhibition showcases a rich diversity of expressions born from imagination, experimentation, and creative freedom.
In this exhibition, where multiple forms of creativity intersect, we invite you to experience the vibrant and playful world of expression woven together by each individual work.

展覧会概要 :
このたび さいたま市プラザノースでは「Domain of Art ー芸術の創造の領域」シリーズの第36回として「Domain of Art 36 東京藝術大学× さいたま市プラザノース クリエイティビティいろんなかたち」展覧会を開催いたします。
東京藝術大学は、上野・横浜・取手・北千住の4か所にキャンパスを構え、学生たちは音楽や美術、映像などの分野で、日々さまざまな表現を試み、研鑽を積んでいます。
今回、初めてプラザノースで開催する本展では、自然豊かな取手キャンパスを拠点に制作活動をする学生、助手、卒業生など、総勢50名以上のアーティストが参加し、「ユーモア」をテーマに、それぞれの個性が光る作品を展開します。
出展者は、グローバルアートプラクティス専攻、油画、彫刻、デザイン、工芸、そしてなにより専門的な技術を扱う共通工房など、多様な領域から集まりました。ジャンルにとらわれない自由な発想と豊かな想像力によって生み出された、多彩な表現のかたちをご覧いただけます。
多様なクリエイティビティが交差する本展で、それぞれの作品が織りなす自由で豊かな表現の世界を、ぜひ会場でお楽しみください！！
