Join internationally renowned curators Philippe Pirotte and Vera Mey, Artistic Directors of the 2024 Busan Biennale, for an in-depth conversation on emerging curatorial approaches and the evolving possibilities of exhibition-making today. Drawing on their research and curatorial practice, they will explore how diverse methodologies are shaping the current landscape of international contemporary art.
Pirotte, who also served on the Finding Committee for documenta fifteen and played a key role in the selection of ruangrupa as Artistic Directors, will offer reflections on the exhibition’s broader implications: What was documenta fifteen, really? And what lasting impact has it had on curatorial thinking and global art discourse?

このたび、国際的に活躍するキュレーター、フィリップ・ピロット氏とヴェラ・メイ氏をお招きし、下記のとおり特別公開トークイベントを開催いたします。
本イベントでは、2024年釜山ビエンナーレの芸術監督を務めた両氏による、国際展におけるキュレーションの現在地とその可能性についての対話を通じて、現代における展覧会のあり方を多角的に考察いたします。
また、ピロット氏はドクメンタ15におけるアーティスティック・ディレクター選出のファインディング・コミッティの一員として、ルアンルパの起用に関わった経験を有しており、本トークでは「ドクメンタ15とは何だったのか」についての振り返りと、その影響についても語っていただきます。
